There are some amazing miniatures, and miniaturists, out there!

This site has been a long time coming. But I’m happy to finally be making some progress on it. My first dollhouse was a simple affair. I received it for Christmas when I was a toddler. It started as a plain 2 story, unfinished house that was passed on to my parents from a Methodist minister who was being transferred to a different church. Turns out it was plain, with not much in the way of contents, so his girls didn’t want it.

My first dollhouse as a black & white postcard for my miniature shop.

A favorite story from my childhood was my mom telling my dad, at some point in the months leading up to Christmas, that she had “turned the roof upside down to be able to paint the ceilings more easily”. I was, of course awed and baffled at the same time. It made a whole lot more sense once I had seen the dollhouse on Christmas morning. 😉

I look forward to sharing my collection and perhaps linking to some exquisite miniatures and miniaturists you may not have run across yet, as well as many you may already know.
